I want to share in your Journey and tell your story!

Hi there, I am Amanda. JOY is an emotion I feel when I photograph the pure love + joy between loved ones and those beautiful, timeless moments that you will look back on for years to come. And it just so happens to be my middle name! I am a lifestyle family, newborn and wedding photographer based out of Ventura County, Ca. If you are wanting to make a new friend who will capture your beautiful love journey starting with your proposal, to the day you say “I do” and who will stick with you from bump to baby + beyond, then I am your gal!

Are you wanting to book a session with me and create some beautiful, timeless memories? Yay, I can’t tell you how stoked I am to be apart of telling your story and sharing in your journey. Whether you are engaged and planning a wedding, just found out you are pregnant, watch your baby grow and flourish from newborn to One years old or you just want to capture those special moments of your beautiful family, I am here for you! I love adventure and the outdoors so I try and implement that into my sessions as well. Let’s have fun and do what you love to do: laugh, snuggle, play, explore and just feel the moment with each other. I like traditional smiling at the camera but I mainly love to capture naturally posed moments. If you are shy in front of the camera and don’t feel like you would know what to do, don’t worry I got you! I give you cues to help capture those sweet moments and pure emotion and personality between you and your loved ones! If you like what you see then I would love to hear from you! I offer different Wedding, Newborn + Family packages that best fit your needs.

You will receive hand edited high resolution images in a beautiful online gallery where you can download and print from there and share on social media as well. Sessions start at $425.

I chase after and crave that dreamy natural light. My favorite time of the day to shoot is usually an hour before sunset. If you are more of a morning person and depending on the location, we can definitely aim for a sunrise session as well. I’ve shot at places such as: the Agoura hills, multiple spots in Thousand Oaks near hiking trails and at the Botanical Gardens, the Simi Valley hills, Big Sur, the fields in San Luis Obispo and many different beach locations: Malibu, Carpinteria, Santa Barbara + Pismo Beach. My images are more of a bright and airy style with muted, true to color tones. Check out my work to be sure that is the style you are looking for and wanting. Can’t wait to make memories for you!
